The cooperative is engaged in the wholesale of fresh fruits and vegetables. The cooperative was incorporated in September of 2006. The registered head office of the cooperative is located in Lorca, Spain. The cooperative was created on the foundations of the prestige and the experience of more than 1,500 farmers from the Valley of the Guadalentin (Comarca del Valle del Guadalentin) and Cieza (Murcia), Agrosol, Ciezana Fruits (Ciezana de Frutas), Hortofruticola Ciezana, Agromur, U.A.G., Gamur, Camposur and Suagrilorca. With more than 1,540 associates the cooperative is the largest cooperative in the region of Murcia. The main aims of the cooperative are expansion and consolidation in the market, interdepartmental cooperation, restructuring of activities, diversification, incorporation of R&D, access to higher scale economies, financial synergy and an increase in profits.
